Qualifications

As per Company external qualification and training matrix.

Basic English.

EXPERIENCE

At least five (5) years.

Preferably an Engineering/Marine certificate education or similar

1.1.1.1.21 Electrician Foreman

RESPONSIBLE TO	Chief Electrician
OBJECTIVE	To maintain all electrical instrumentation and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Familiarity with all electrical instrumentation, electrical systems, switchboards, related electrical equipment, SCR control system and EO-systems.

· Properly maintain, in accordance with the planned preventive maintenance system, all electrical systems, switchboard, related electrical equipment, SCR control system, EO-systems and electrical instrumentation including high / low voltage and DC systems.

· Be familiar with all the classification society’s and the authorities’ rules and regulations applicable to his area of responsibility.

· Take all necessary safety precautions whenever working on electrical systems, ensure that the systems are properly isolated from the main switchboard and that the circuit breakers are locked and warning signs are strategically posted.

· Ensure that all reporting procedures and routines are followed and all paper work is handled timely and correctly.

· Carry out and follow Material request for electrical stock and consumable.

· Keep maintenance records and prepare reports concerning the electrical installation.

· Operate plant and equipment up to 10Kv.

· Ensure all safety routines are followed.

· Ensure that no electrical work that needs “work permit” is started until proper investigation has been carried out and approvals have been given in writing.

· Promptly report all accidents, near-miss accidents and non-conformances through the proper channels.

· Carry out emergency duties as directed.

· Ensure that the workforce is briefed on safety considerations throughout the execution of the work.

· Provide Tool Box Talks (TBT) as required by the nature of the job.

AUTHORITY

· Assign duties to his crew

· Execution of work tasks as directed by the Chief Electrician

· Cease any operation and take any action he deems necessary until the Chief Electrician is notified.

QUALIFICATIONS

· As per Company external qualification and training matrix.

· Fluent in verbal and written English.

· Good knowledge in computer utilization

EXPERIENCE

· At least five (5) years.

· Three (3) years experience required on vessels power management and electrical systems

1.1.1.1.22 Electrician

RESPONSIBLE TO	Chief Electrician, Electrical foreman
OBJECTIVE	To maintain all electrical equipment in efficient and safe condition
