PREFACE
The Hoffmann Students' Handbook is written for students at all levels of learning this particular type of analyzing. For the beginner, I suggest that you turn to the back of the book and become familiar with the words in the glossary because they have special meaning pertaining to this work. This will help you understand and master the techniques involved.
This book is in two parts with enough details to enable any student to practice at home. However, the scope of this work is very broad, and many students may wish to attend my classes and seminars, since seeing is better than reading how things are done.
Remember, the time that you spend determines how accurate and how efficient you can become-the more time, the more accurate and the more you can do. As an example, if you want to be a typist or play an instrument, the more time you practice, the better you become. This is no different
I wish all my students the best in their "pendulum swinging".
