Description
| The main goal of WP1 is to develop major requirements for building the GameHub program by using the WP1 results for target groups’ needs UA and EU labor market, existing experience of UA universities, and Programme Countries best practices. For this purpose we plan:
- to carry out the comprehensive study of existing programs and curricula at project targeted ICT and game industry available at EU partner organizations (1.1);
- to accomplish the analysis of ICT and digital GI at technology enhanced learning and service at Ukraine (1.2);
- to gather information concerning the task analysis; knowledge and skills needs at ICT and specially at game industries conducting the activities: design questionnaires, specialists interviewing (at least 1 from each regional State Placement Service, 6 HEI & 13 IND authorities in EU and UA/P1-P13) (1.3),
- to develop competence profiles (methodology) based on the 1.1 & 1.3 outcomes (1.3);
- to design didactical approach in GameHub training using outcomes 1.1, 1.2, &1.4 (1.4);
- to elaborate techno-pedagogical requirements on a game laboratory to design a development guidance based on the results of WP1 (1.5).
The WP1 performance indicators are:
- Conceptual Design of game laboratory: technical, pedagogical, methodological.
- Competence Profile based on interview the specialists of GI market.
- Analysis of existing local labor market: matching of enterprises needs/universities offers
- Report “Comparative analysis of existing programs and curricula at EU Universities”
- Guide on didactical approach in GameHub training as a part of specific engineering study program.
The outcomes of the WP1 will be used for building effective training modules for HEI based on mentoring of competence needs in fast-growing high-technology industry.
All project partners will take active roles in delivering these results. As the leading partner, the PNU will be responsible for the smooth and efficient management of WP1 and selection of partners’ institution on the leading role in special task of WP1.

Tasks
| - Analysis and report on the existing programs and curricula at project targeted ICT and game industry available at EU partner organizations;
- Visiting Study of Partners universities in Programme Countries universities and training organizations (P1-P6): every visiting study includes 18 teaching staff of UA HEI (P7-P12);
- Analysis the ICT and GI in Ukraine; existing teaching program at UA universities;
- Survey (ca. 100 responses) and interview (at least 20 experts) for gathering info on task analysis; knowledge and skills needs at ICT and specially at game industries;
- Analysis of existing local labour market: matching of enterprises needs and universities offers;
- Competence Profile based on interview the specialists of GI market;
- Conceptual Design of game laboratory: technical, pedagogical, methodological.
