FRIENDSHIP

Such strange thing is friendship. People sing songs about it, devote poems, stories… Speaking about it, people usually use such beautiful words as faithfulness, self-sacrifice…

All over the world friendship is considered to be really precious. It’s very difficult to go through the hardships of our life without our friends’ support. Only they can give us a piece of good advice, can analyze our actions. It’s in their habit to share with us either our grief or happiness.

People around us are very different: they have different aims and interests; their attitude to some events is different too. But we all can suffer, can feel joyful. Some tragic events that happen to us in our life can make us suffer greatly. People differ from animals in the way, they can endure sufferings. Later they understand that it is necessary to live to move, to act. If you have your friends’ and relatives support it is easier to come to your senses.

One of my friends had to cope with a lot of problems. At the same time she quarreled with her colleagues, friends, close people and it was unbearable to stay with her around. There were only few people to help her. She is a strong personality and she could solve all the problems. But it would be much easier to overcome the difficulties with a trustworthy person about you, a person who is always ready to give a helping hand to you. Only a true friend feels your inner life and can find a key to your heart to help, to console and to share your happiness.

They say that true friendship is a plant of slow growth which must undergo and withstand shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation. And we should not destroy this tender desertion even if something unreasonable comes between two friends as we must learn to forgive and forget, because “To err is human; to forgive divine”. (Pope Joann)
