• If at all possible, work in a quiet place.
• Work by yourself to avoid interference from the vibrations or thoughts of others in the room.
• Become as relaxed as possible and quiet inside.
• Concentrate only on the work you are doing-nothing else. Hold the pendulum properly.
• Keep the swing over the black marks or numbers on the board.
• Keep it closer than 3A" to the board.
• Practice and dedication are essential.
• Check accuracy at times with others (some meet weekly).
Wrong Answers
Stop the pendulum if the swing is too large or too high. Start over. If it wanders or zig zags, then it is past the right place-start over. If see-saw, arm position is not correct-get angle with elbow on the table, then raise elbow V2 inch only.
Wrong answers may be caused from interference of your own thoughts, others in the room talking, even the thoughts of others in the room, noise inside the room, or excessive outside noise coming in.

Getting and Understanding the Answers
When doing an analysis (chart), we usually start with the alkaline balance because this gives us a good indication of the overall condition of the person for whom the analysis is being run. On the evaluation sheet start with alkaline balance.
For the alkaline balance, let's assume that we have the name and address on the analysis board in the witness area (circle). We then take the pointer (plastic stick) and place it on the words alkaline balance, rubbing gently across the words alkaline balance (but stop the pointer on the spot when you get ready for the reading). Now you are getting the vibrations from alkaline balance, it goes up the arm, up into the subconscious mind, and then back out the other side to give the answer. Let's assume that we take the pendulum and (a) hold it over the witness area, (b), start it moving back and forth, (c), ask question: Is the alkaline balance above 90? and (d), the pendulum eventually goes into a negative swing or backwards. This indicates that the person's alkaline balance is below 90. Now if we had done the same thing and the pendulum would not change, it would stay back and forth, would not go to the right, would not go to the left, then we'd bring it down to the 90 and let it swing over the 90, and it would not change either way. This would indicate that the person's alkaline balance is 90, which would be a pretty good field to be in. Another example would be if we have determined that the alkaline balance is below 90. Then we take our pendulum and go down to about 350 on our scale and start the pendulum in a reverse motion. Let it swing around several times to be sure it goes in a good swing backwards. Then start moving the pendulum ahead or up the scale, going very slowly because

many of the readings of alkaline balance are in the low area, anywhere between 5, 10, or 15. The reason for the low reading, you will find, is that many of the people you work on are drinking coffee, Coke, beer, or alcohol, eating chocolate, or smoking-and this always brings the alkaline balance to a very low level. Now as you go up the scale, starting below zero, and moving up the scale, not very fast, you will find the pendulum will (a) continue the negative swing up to a point, (b) then begin to oscillate back and forth, and (c) then it will start swinging forward or a positive swing. Where the pendulum made the change (back and forth motion) is your answer. Regardless of what you are analyzing, it works the same way. For instance, let's check the thyroid. Go back to below zero, start your pendulum in a negative swing, start up the scale, and let's say that when you come to 10, the pendulum reverses and goes the other way, indicating that the reading of the thyroid is 10—so it is not working very well.
About 80% of the time, when you find one or two glands low, most of the other glands will have approximately the same reading. Once in a while, you may find an overactive gland, a thyroid or pituitary or adrenal gland, but this doesn't happen very often.
As you start down the evaluation sheet, you may come to the word "potassium." A perfectly balanced potassium would be 360 units. On the chart - anything between 120 and 360 would be in an acceptable range. As you work with people, and especially yourself, you will find the potassium level at a low reading. My method of doing it is this. I hold the pendulum over the witness area and ask the question: Is the potassium level below 120? If the pendulum goes into a positive motion, and it tells me yes, this in-

dicates that the potassium level is below 120. When it is indicative of this, I start out asking: Is it below 10? Much of the time, your answer will be about 10, because most people (unless they know differently) are either drinking coffee or pop, or doing something to bring their potassium level down. This doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't mean the potassium level can only be low if they do these things, stress can also cause a low potassium reading. The stress factor of each person is different
The energy readings from the items on the top part of the evaluation sheet are for the entire body. It is possible to get a normal reading for the entire body, but a different reading when checking specific areas of the body. For example: when checking the alkaline balance the reading may be normal, but when checking the leg you may find the alkaline balance to be very low even though you received a normal reading for the body. You then check the legs for excessive purine and find they may be high in purine. You have to go into the area of the body where these stress factors are. Therefore, don't rely only on the reading you get from the original evaluation chart. The evaluation chart is a good worksheet to start with.
Another example of this is cholesterol. The general reading may be in the normal range, but specific areas of the body may be clogged with cholesterol deposits when checking with the artery picture. The ankle may have a reading of 5 and the knee 40 indicating there is a blockage between the knee and ankle. If the cholesterol reading is above 155, use the witness vial for cholesterol and "scan" (very slowly) to see which portion of the body is clogged.
