Here you are, there you are Here it is! There he is! Here I am!
We can use here you are and there you are (or, in informal situations, here you go and there you go) when giving something to someone. Here and there have the same meaning in this use: Example; A: Did you get my newspaper? B: Yes. Here you are. [gives it to A] A: Can you pass me that dictionary? B: There you go. [gives the dictionary] We often use here + subject pronoun + be and there + subject pronoun + be at the moment of finding or meeting someone or something we have been looking for or waiting for:   Example; A: Has anyone seen my pen? B: Here it is, right by the phone. People often say that they have arrived or that someone else has arrived using here + subject pronoun + be:   Example A: Hello! Here we are! I hope we haven’t missed lunch? B: Hello. No, you’re right on time.

Do you understand the rules?

The forms both / and; neither / nor; either / or take two subjects which can change the conjugation of the verb depending on the placement of the paired subjects. Learn the rules to avoid one of the most common mistakes in English.

Both... and is a paired conjunction. Paired conjunctions are used to express actions that two or more subjects take. Other paired conjunctions include 'either... or' and 'neithe…

Both…and… Neither… nor… Either … or ….
I like both by ship traveling and by plane. (traveling) Both my parents and my grandparents visit my birthday party. Neither Mr. Tom nor Mr. Mark will come to the conference. I speak neither French nor Spain. Either Ms. Smith or Ms. Anny will come to business meeting. When I travel in Spain I speak either Spanish or English.

Much, many, a lot: Business communication

Making small talk and developing a conversation.

Have you ever been in a situation where you had to small talk in English but you never knew how to do it?
Having problems maintaining the flow of a small talk conversation in business settings?
Feel like you never know what to talk about in these situations?

There are many situations in life and in business when we need to made smaller talk. We use small talk to find out the other person`s personality, discover shared interests and build trust. Starting a conversation with people you know is much easier because you already have shared interests.
