Задание: выполнить указанные задания.

Выбор варианта: один вариант для всех.

Задание контрольной работы:

I. Use the nouns in the plural.

1. This is a red car. 2. This is my friend. 3. This is a nice woman. 4. This is a black cat. 5. This is a tall man. 6. That is a big dog. 7. That is their bike. 8. That is a pretty little child. 9. That is a thin note-book. 10. That is an English boy.

II. Use: “am, are, is, have, has”:

1. The cat … in the box. 2. … you a cousin? 3. I … a student. 4. Mr. Brown … a daughter. 5. Those cars … red. 6. She … a large family. 7. Nick … my good friend. 8. … she from England?

III. Use: “my, your, his, her, its, our, their”:

1. Mr. and Mrs. Brown have two children. Both … children are boys. 2. Miss Smith is a teacher. … students are German. 3. We are French. … friends are English. 4. You are in Bristol but … family is in York. 5. I have a small cat. … cat is very funny. 6. My daughter has a dog. … nose is long. 7. My friends have a new car. … car is very nice. 8. Mary has a new bag. … bag is very big.

IV. Измените, где необходимо, форму глагола (Present Simple, Present Continuous):

1. He smokes ten cigarettes a day. 2. I am liking black coffee. 3. Mary is in the kitchen. She cooks dinner. 4. I find London a beautiful city. 5. She is speaking four languages. 6. The sun rises in the East. 7. Joe is having flat in Kiev.

V. Поставьте глаголы в Past Simple или Past Continuous:

1. Last year I (to decide) to go to England for my holidays. 2. When I left Kiev it (to rain) but when I arrived in London it (to clear) up. A cold wind (to blow) from the sea. 3. I (to go) to my hotel by bus. As soon as I (to sign) in I (to see) a friend of mine from the USA. She (to stay) at the same hotel. In the afternoon we (to go) shopping. 4. We (to listen) to their chatter trying to understand them.

VI. Поставьте глаголы в Past Simple или Present Perfect:

I (to study) English at school. 2. From 1991 to 1997 Jim (to work) as a customer officer. 3. How many pages you (to read)? 4. When he was a sales representative he (to work) twelve hours a day. 5. How much you (to get) at your last job? 6. I (to come) home at 5 o¢clock yesterday. 7. Where all the managers (to go)? 8. Last summer Jim and Jane (to travel) to the conference in New-York together. 9. He (not to finish) his work yet and is not ready to go with us.
