am /is /are + Ving= Present Continuous
Present Continuous Tense употребляется:
1. Для выражения длящегося незавершенного действия, происходящего в момент речи. Момент речи может быть выражен следующими наречиями или словосочетаниями: now, at present, at the moment и т.д., а может быть ясен из контекста:
He is reading a book now. – Он читает книгу сейчас.
Don’t make any noise, he is sleeping. – Не шумите, он спит.
2. Для выражения длительного действия, совершающегося в настоящий период, не обязательно в момент речи.
Please don't take that book. Anna' s reading it. - Пожалуйста, не бери эту книгу. Аня ее читает.
Andrew' s spending a lot of time in the library these days, as he 's writing a book. - Эндрю в эти дни проводит много времени в библиотеке, т.к. пишет книгу.
3. Для выражения будущего длительного действия (вместо Future Continuous) в обстоятельственных придаточных предложениях условия и времени, которые вводятся союзами if, when, while и др.:
I will be reading the newspaper while you are writing your exercises. - Я буду читать газету, в то время как ты будешь писать упражнения.
4. Для выражения будущего события, которое к моменту речи уже запланировано и произойдет в ближайшем будущем. В этом значении Present Continuous используется с глаголами движения или действия: to see, to meet, to go, to come, to leave, to start и т.д.
They are getting married in June. - Они поженятся в июне.
We are leaving at 11.00 in the morning. - Мы уезжаем в 11 утра.
Для выражения намерения совершить действие или уверенности в его совершении в будущем наряду с Present Continuous часто употребляется Present Continuous от глагола to go - to be going - в сочетании с инфинитивом. To be going to в этом случаи значении "собираюсь, намереваюсь, намерен":
He is going to spend his summer vacation in the Crimea. - Он собирается провести летние каникулы в Крыму.
5. Следующие глаголы не употребляются в Present Continuous:
1) Глаголы мыслительной деятельности: to know, to mind, to understand, to believe, to forget, to remember, to mean, to doubt, to recognize.
She knows a lot about astrology. - Она много знает об астрологии.
I believe his story. - Я верю его истории (рассказу).
2) Глаголы, выражающие эмоциональные состояния: to like, to dislike, to look, to prefer, to want, to care, to hate, to love, to need, to appreciate, to seem.
I like playing football. - Я люблю играть в футбол.
They love listening to music. - Они любят слушать музыку.
3) Глаголы пяти чувств: зрения, обоняния, вкуса, слуха, ощущения (to see, to smell, to taste, to hear, to touch ). Обычно они используются с модальным глаголом саn.
I can smell something burning. - Я чувствую что-то горит.
Can you see Peter? - Ты видишь Петра?
4) Глаголы обладания: to possess, to own, to belong, to have.
I have two sisters. - У меня две сестры.
Не owns a car. - У него есть машина.
5) Некоторые другие глаголы: to cost, to need, to contain, to depend, to consist, to seem:
A newspaper costs about 20p. - Газета стоит около 20 пенсов.
I need a bath. - Мне нужно принять ванну.
Спряжение глагола to write (писать) в Present Continuous Tense:

2. Put the verb into the correct form of Present Continuous.

3. Write what they usually do and what they’re doing today.

Передача будущего действия (Present Continuous или Present Simple): 1. be going to используется для передачи намерений: He is going to spend his summer vacation in the Crimea. - Он собирается провести летние каникулы в Крыму. 2. Present Continuous передает будущие действия решенные и организованные: They're getting married in June. - Они поженятся в июне. 3. Present Simple используется для передачи будущего действия, которое произойдет согласно расписанию, по программе: My train leaves at 10 o'clock tomorrow. – Мой поезд уезжает в 10 часов завтра. |
