I’ve realised I haven’t (1) ___ my blog since I went to Cambridge for my interview, and that was a week ago. So, here’s what happened on that dreaded day! I’d been preparing for the interview for a few weeks but the night before I was really (2) ___ and had a more or less sleepless night, so I wasn’t in a very good (3) ___ the following morning. My dad gave me a lift to the station (that’s what dads are for!), and somehow I managed to miss the London train (4) ___ ten seconds. Can you believe it? I caught the next one and had to sit listening to a one-way phone call from a businessman to a work colleague for most of the journey. I took the underground (5) ___ London, but it was so crowded I had to stand all the way and by the time I was on the Cambridge train, my shoes were dirty, my coat was creased and I felt a mess.
