11.2. 1 When handover is carried out by vehicles, industrial station or harbour station
takes a small volume of transit operation in railway network, the railway station is very
near to industrial station or harbour station and terrain conditions are permissible,it should
establish joint railway station and industrial station and enterprise station or joint railway
station and harbour station and port station,otherwise it should be established separately.
11.2.2 The layout diagram of industrial station or harbour station shall be determined
according to handover and takeover pattern, operation volume, operation nature, the
operating work division this station undertakes in railway network and cargo loading and
unloading place,etc. Design may adopt it by following stipulations:

1 When it is to adopt cargo handover and takeover,it should adopt lateral type layout diagram(Figure 11. 2. 2-1).

2 When it is to adopt wagon handover and takeover while the two stations are set separately,it should adopt lateral type layout diagram (Figure 11. 2. 2-2). In case of large operation volume,it may adopt other rational layout diagrams.

3 When it is to adopt wagon handover and takeover while the two stations are set jointly,both yards shall adopt lateral type layout diagram (Figure 11. 2. 2-3) or longitudinal type layout diagram (Figure 11. 2. 2-4). In case of large operation volume, it may adopt bidirectional mixed type layout diagram for joint station (Figure 11.2. 2-5) or other rational layout diagrams.

4 When it is to arrange special loading and unloading equipment in industrial or harbor station to handle the large quantity cargos for enterprise or port,the station layout diagram shall be determined in consideration of operation pattern and terrain conditions.

Note: when Yard 5 is used also as handover and takeover yard, it shall adopt the connecting

track in broken line and cancel Yard 3 and its connecting track.
