4 It shall not erect overhead contact system over the shunting track, loading and unloading track with large-sized lifting equipment, depot siding under control of vehicle depot, station repair siding, stabling and servicing siding for diesel locomotive, light oil depot siding, special track for flammable and explosive substances or other tracks unfit for electrification in a station.
5 If there are several types of traction in a district station, marshalling station or other large stations, it shall determine the range for erection of overhead contact system in a rational manner.
3.1. 5 Within a station range, the number of tracks for overhead contact system to cross by way of head span suspension shall not exceed 8 ones. The arrangement of pillars for overhead contact system shall be in line with other arrangements and development in future.
The pillars for overhead contact system shall not be set at the exits or entrances of station building, luggage and package house, warehouse, ticket examiner, footbridge or underground path, etc..
On basic passenger platform,the pillars for overhead contact system should not be set on the platform edge on the track side;on freight platform,the edge of pillar for overhead contact system should be at least 3. 5 m away from platform edge. Under difficult conditions in a reconstructed station, the distance between the edge of pillar for overhead contact system and the edges of the said platforms shall be no less than 2 m. 3. 1.6 For the overpass bridge in a station across an electrified railway, the height of its beam bottom from the top of rail of track under the bridge in straight line section shall accord with following requirements;

4 In the curved line section with outer rail cant, it shall be additionally increased according to calculations.
3. 1. 7 The effective length of freight train arrival and departure track shall be determined in considerations of such factors as traffic capacity requirement, types of locomotive, the length of train to be drawn,terrain condition and the coordination with the effective length of adjacent railway arrival and departure track, etc. The effective length of arrival and departure track shall be selected as 1 050 m,850 m,750 m or 650 m series respectively;the railway designed mainly for combined train may adopt the effective arrival and departure track length of more than 1 050 m.
