On/offline activity

I. Work in groups

  1. What other famous inventors or scientists do you know?

2. Look at the pictures. Do you know these people?

 

 

II. Divide into groups of 3 or 4 people and find the information from the Internet about other famous inventors, constructors, engineers ( for example, about Alexander Bell, Alexander Popov, Mikhail Kalashnikov, etc.) and present the information on:

1) the name of the inventor;

2) the country this invention was made in;

3) what the thing was made for;

4) how it is used now;

5) how it influenced our life.

I. Ask each other these questions:

What do you usually do on Sundays? What did you do last Sunday?

...on Saturday evenings? ... last Saturday evening?

... on Mondays? ... last Monday?

II. Retell your other groupmates about what your partner usually does and did.
