My Future Speciality – Economical Cybernetics

If you asked me why I’ve chosen “Economical Cybernetics” as my future speciality, I couldn’t give the answer at once. But by the name of this speciality it is possible to guess, that it is associated with the use of the computer and computer programmes in various spheres of economy, information systems and technologies. And when I entered the university I felt at once that Economical Cybernetics is one of the most necessary specialities.

I’ve learned more about changes in economic structure of our country and found that the economists didn’t have necessary information and knowledge needed for enterprise management at a modern level. Nowaday economy requires use of specialists who equally know both computer technologies and mathematical methods of information processing.

Speciality of Economical Cybernetics meets the requirements of region development. First of all, it concerns regional exchequer system, where the modern methods of collecting and processing information and accounting are used.

At the University I was also taught the modern methods of mathematics in economy, to work with modern computers, computer programming, to create modern information systems and technologies and to use them for national economy management. Now I can also work in computer networks and realize the protection of the information by programs and other methods.

Now I can explain why I’ve learned Economical Cybernetics. With the given knowledge I can work in computing and information centres, enterprises, organizations, establishments of Ukrainian Ministry of Industry in all kinds of economic activity: activity in sphere of information; information consultations; software creating; data processing; work with databases.

Further I will be able to work as an engineer-programmer. So, you can see that without computers, without knowledge of mathematical methods of information processing and programming and information technologies it is impossible to imagine contemporary economy, which needs qualified scientists and engineers.
