Let me introduce myself. My name is Sergey Smirnov. I am from Russia. I was born in a small Siberian town on the 14^th of May, 1995. My native town is situated in an attractive suburb, not very far from a large industrial centre.

I still live with my parents. Our family is not very big, we are five: mother, father, granny and me. I have an elder sister, but she doesn't live with us, because she is married. Besides I have aunts, uncles and cousins who live far away.

I am a first-year student of the Novosibirsk College of Geodesy and Cartography. I am studying to become a technician in Applied Geodesy. I'd like to become a qualified specialist.

I have a lot of friends. It's a pity, but I'm too busy with my studies. It takes me a lot of time to get ready for my classes. We have English classes once a week. In my spare time I like playing sports, especially football and volleyball. I have a girl-friend, who is studying to become a medical nurse. She is very careful about her health. She jogs every morning to keep fit. We try to spend weekends together. We enjoy listening to all types of music, dancing and swimming. We both play the guitar.

My mother is 37. She works as a shop assistant. My mother is a practical woman, full of common sense, that's why she manages the house very well.

My granny doesn’t work. She is a pensioner. She likes to watch TV. Her favourite programmes are: world news, concerts and the programmes about wild nature.

My father is 40; he is a long-distance lorry driver. He is very experienced. His work is very difficult, but well-paid. He is a kind-hearted person, optimistic, honest and very responsible. My father's main interest is fishing.

My sister's name is Nina. She is 7 years older than me. She is married. My sister works as a book-keeper. She likes to spend time with her little daughter, my niece, and her husband.

Our family is very friendly. In the evening our family gets together. We have supper, discuss our problems and watch TV. We like to have good time together.
