· Invited by Professor Jonathan Granoff to attend a high-level, small discussion that served as a pre-prepatory meeting to discuss the best way to achieve complete, global nuclear disarmament: e.g. a comprehensive ban on use, possession, manufacture, or testing; or a framework of agreements leading to eventual disarmament.
· The keynote speech was given by UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki-Moon, and among the notable speakers were U.S. Ambassador Robert Gray, Jr., U.S. Ambassador James Goodby, U.S. Ambassador Richard Butler, and President of the 1995 NPT Review and Extension Conference Jayantha Dhanapala.
· At a workshop titled “Nuclear Weapons Convention or Framework of Agreements: Exploring Proposals for Nuclear Disarmament,” a further, smaller discussion took place among the delegates and civil society representatives at the Permanent Swiss Mission to the United Nations. At this workshop, I made a comment to the lawyers, civil society representatives and policy-makers in the nuclear disarmament field, in attendance, to reach out to law students around the globe, who will be willing to help with the cause, for assistance.

· Worked with two other interns in developing a plan to implement an idea created by Distinguished Professor Andrew Strauss to broaden the Advisory Jurisdiction for the International Court of Justice.
· Worked with Managing Directors of multi-national NGOs, in particular the World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy; and met with Legal Advisors for Permanent Missions to the United Nations.

· Competed, through a written and oral competition, in the Mid-East Qualifier round. JESSUP is the largest moot court competition in the world.

· Studied comparative constitutional and environmental law at the University of Nairobi Law School in Kenya. Also studied the region’s culture and learned basic Swahili.
