Exercise 12. Give the comparative and the superlative degrees of the following adjectives:

Exercise 13. Put adjectives in brackets in the proper degree of comparison:

Exercise 14. Choose the most suitable adverb in the box to fill each blank:

a) adverbs of frequency:

Exercise 16. Make a question with a question tag:

Your position title …? 3. Ask an employee if she prints copies of the contract. You expect the answer to be ‘yes’. 4. You guess that Biotech have cancelled their order. Biotech …? 5. You are very surprised that the bank accepts the payments. The bank …? 6. Ask a marketing manager if he analyses the distribution channels. You doubt he will do this. 7. You suppose the company introduces innovations to the market. You expect the answer to be ‘yes”.

 

Exercise 17. Make all possible types of questions to the following sentences:

1. The development of modern economics began in the 17th century. 2. Economists have two ways of looking at economics and the economy. 3. Economic incentives often influence our decisions about what and where to buy. 4. Every society faces with the identical problem of scarcity. 5. Economic forces affect decisions in the world of market. 6. Prices usually direct market economies. 7. Large corporations use economists to study the way they do business.
