Guccio Gucci is an Italian fashion and leather goods brand. It is part of

the Gucci Group. The owner is a French company Kering. Gucci is the

biggest-selling Italian brand. It occupies the 41st place in the annual 2009

“Top Global 100 Brands” chart. The Group operates about 278 stores

worldwide (September 2009) and it sells its products in expensive

department stores. Gucci’s logo is double G (GG). Gucci stores worldwide

donate a percentage of their revenues to the United Nations Children’s

Fund. The company supports education, healthcare, environment

protection and clean water programs as well as programmes for orphans

and children from Africa.

Hermès International S.A., Hermès of Paris, or simply Hermès is

a French manufacturer of quality goods. Today it specializes in leather,

lifestyle accessories, perfumery, luxury goods, and ready-to-wear. Its logo

is a Duc carriage with a horse. The company uses only natural materials for

its products. Their most famous products include python motorcycle

jackets and ostrich-skin jeans. Their goal is to move the Hermès brand into

a new consumer-group: young women and men.

Hermès has 14 product divisions which encompass leather, scarves, ties,

menswear, women’s fashion, perfume, watches, stationery, footwear, gloves,

enamel, decorative arts, tableware, and jewelry.

Tableware is one of the strongest segments of the firm. It is from

porcelain and crystal.

Valentin Abramovich Yudashkin is a Russian fashion designer. He is the

first post-Soviet designer to promote Russian in the international fashion

world. He exhibits his designs in museums such as the Louvre Museum of

Fashion in Paris, the California Museum of Fashion in Los Angeles, the

Metropolitan Museum in New York, and the State Historical Museum in

Moscow.

He is the author of Russia’s military uniform. He has got more than 50

collections. He is a member of the Syndicate of High Fashion in Paris.

There is The House of Valentin Yudashkin in Moscow which includes

hautecouture and prêt-a-porter fashion collections, accessories, jewelry

and porcelain. He sells his brands in boutiques in Russia, the United States

and Italy.
