The Human Resource and Corporate Services Manager is the appointed Management Representative for the Quality Management System, the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety System with the following responsibilities and corresponding authority:
q Ensuring that processes needed for the management system are established, implemented and maintained;
q Reporting to the senior management on the performance of the management system and any need for improvement;
q Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation;
q Liaising with external parties on matters pertaining to the integrated management system.

QUALITY PLANNING
A multidisciplinary approach is used for Quality Planning. All operational and support services are defined by means of detailed work instructions and reporting check lists in order to provide management with information to manage exceptions.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Master Drilling is formally registered as a listed company with a Board of Directors and a Company Secretary.
Master Drilling will continually identify and review legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the operations of the company.
A list of applicable regulatory and statutory requirements is maintained; changes are regularly reviewed and incorporated into the management system.
Information in this regard will be accessible from http://www.acts.co.za/ and communication with local regulatory bodies and City Councils/Municipalities.
A Legal Compliance Register was established and is updated when changes affect the company. Changes will be communicated to the Managing Director, who will in turn, inform applicable personnel. This aspect is also reviewed at the annual management review.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Planning for human, financial and physical resources are included in the Business Plan and Annual Budget. Resources are allocated per contract; refer to the Procedure for Machine Allocation, Site Establishment and Commissioning.
