The Fulbright Program

Fulbright Program, 1. international educational program of the United States government that provides 2. monetary awards, known as Fulbright grants or scholarships, to students, 3. scholars, professionals, and teachers from the United States and other countries. U.S. grantees travel abroad to lecture, conduct research, or teach, and foreign grantees travel to the United States for the same purpose. The awards are named after Senator J.
