Regulations

DATE and PLACE

9–10 October Teams arrival

10 October 19:00 – 21:00 Technical meeting (for teams leaders and coaches)

10 October 20:00 – 21:00 Judging seminar

11-12 October 09:00 – 19:00 Competitions

13-14 October Teams departure

Place: Riga, Latvia

Venue: “Olympic Sports Centre Riga”, 6B Grostonas Str.

PARTICIPATION

2.1. Any team approved by national federations - members of EWuF and IWuF are allowed to participate.

2.2. All applications shall bear the stamp and signature of the respective team manager.

2.3. There are no limitations for the number of national teams and team size.

2.4. Maximum entries for each athlete are limited: 3 events in competition program (1 barehanded routine, 1 long weapon, 1 short weapon) and 3 events in traditional program (1 barehanded routine, 1 long weapon, 1 short weapon), 2 “duilian”.

ENTRIES

PRELIMINARY ENTRIES

The preliminary forms should be sent before September 5th, 2014 to the Organizing Committee of the 2^nd Open Baltic Wushu Championships by e-mail [e-mail].

FINAL ENTRIES

The final entry forms should be sent not later than September 30th, 2014 to the Organizing Committee of the 2^nd Open Baltic Wushu Championships by e-mail [e-mail].

NOTE:

- One copy of the Final Entry Form must be brought with the team to the registration;

- Penalty of 50EUR will apply, if submitting Final Entry Form after deadline (September 30, 2014);

- Final Entry Forms are valid only when signed and stamped of the respective team manager;

- Final Entry Forms must be submitted only on original application form (self-made application forms are not accepted);

- All names and surnames must be typed in English.

3.3. THE PARTICIPATION FEE

20 EUR for the first event for one athlete.

10 EUR for 2d and 3d event if any.

JUDGES

Each team can send their own qualified taolu judge.

REGISTRATION

All participating teams are required to check-in at the 2^nd Open Baltic Wushu Championships organizing Committee registration desk in the Tallink Hotel Riga, 24 Elizabetes Str., not later than on October 10, 2014 until 19:00.

When registering, the team manager should pay the relevant participation and accommodation fees.

ACCOMODATION

The official hotel to be used:

Accommodation shall be based on a “per person per night” basis for two people sharing twin room.

Costs:

- 75 EUR per person per night sharing twin room

- 115 EUR per person per night in single room

Breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the price.

Only official hotel will be used. Participants shall be required to use the official hotel as a condition of participation.

EVENTS

AGE GROUPS

Taolu:

- Until 8 years (included) – mixture of boys and girls in one group is allowed;

- 9 – 11 years (included) – mixture of boys and girls in one group is allowed;

- 12 – 14 years (included) – mixture of boys and girls in one group is allowed;

- 15 – 17 years (included) – mixture of males and females in one group is allowed;

- 18 – 35 years (included) – mixture of males and females in one group is allowed;

- 36 years and older – mixture of males and females in one group is allowed.

Full age is determined by the athlete age on JANUARY 01st, 2014.

COMPETITION PROGRAM

Forms are divided into 4 groups: A, B, C, D:

- A group is for Nandu forms;

- B group is for standard forms;

- C group is for traditional forms;

- D group is for 32 forms;

- H group is for basic forms (20 forms, 24 forms, etc.).

This applies to all weapon and barehand forms.

NOTE: Group D is meant for boys and girls up to 11 years old. (included).

1. Barehanded forms: Changquan, Nanquan, Taijiquan;

2. Short weapons: Jianshu, Daoshu, Nandao;

3. Long weapons: Qiangshu, Gunshu, Nangun;
