We invite you to participate in

International Scientific and Practical Conference:

“THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL PRINCIPLES

OF INVESTIGATION AND CONSERVATION

OF RARE PLANT SPECIES”

(national and international aspects)

to be held 15-18 April 2014

in National Museum of Natural History (Botanical museum): Kyiv, 01601, Bohdan Khmelnitsky Str. 15

and

M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden NАS of Ukraine (Nature flora department): Kyiv, 01014, Timiriazevska Str. 1

The purposes of the conference are discussion and the exchanging of scientific and practical information on the problems of researches results:

Ø Investigation and conservation of rare plant species in situ inventory locations, chorology, phytocenology (phytosociology), floracomplex restriction, limiting factors, etc.).

Ø Investigation and conservation of rare plant species ex situ (cultivation, introduction, repatriation of species, modelling of populations, creation seed, genetic and in vitro banks of rare plant species, the problem of cryopreservation of genome, etc.).

Ø Biomorphology, phenology and population biology of rare species.

Ø Rare plant species under conditions of urban landscapes.

Ø Populations of rare species in extreme conditions of technolandscapes and agricultural landscapes. Rare species in zones of influence of the energy complexes (HPP, HSPP, APP, WPP, TPP, etc.).

Ø Phytomonitoring of rare species populations.

Ø Innovative methods of rare species investigations (molecular-genetic, electron-microscope, physiological, biochemical, karyology etc.).

Ø Synergetic approach in investigation and conservation of rare species.

Ø Optimizing of network of protected objects of national and international levels.

Ø Influence of phytobiological pollution of regional floras on rare component.

Ø Scientific, educational and pedagogical activities of natural museums, botanical gardens and eco-naturalistic centres in formation of saving nature management and ecocentric consciousness of society.
