For people in Kiev, Ukraine the shift of the poles will look in the following way:

Night. Seismic tremors. People run out of buildings in panic. Somebody is shouting that they have said on the radio that it is the consequence of the limited nuclear war in the Middle East and Korea. Suddenly the star-studded sky starts to move and stars dip beyond horizon. All of a sudden a thunderous black wave of the freezing icy hurricane strikes from the north, blowing away many people. The survivors crawl for shelter. The roar of the hurricane is mixed with a horrible sound of the breaking glass of millions of simultaneously blown-out windows. The icy dark hurricane carries dust, soil, trees, various objects, glass, people and animals. Suddenly the sun rises on the unexpected side of horizon, swiftly crosses the sky, darkened by the black hurricane, and rapidly sets on the unexpected side of horizon. Then the sun again quickly rises, crosses the sky and sets on the unusual side of horizon. Most houses will withstand the blow of the elements, but there is immense destruction everywhere.

The hurricane from the north will push the water of the “Kiev Sea” Water Reservoir with such force against the earthquake-damaged dam across the Dnieper River that the dam will give way and break, and the huge tsunami wave of water and radioactive mud will roll towards Kiev, crushing everything in its way, smashing bridges, flooding the low-lying left bank areas of Kiev, and even reaching distant locations in the topographically higher right bank areas in Kiev. There may also be devastation and flooding further downstream Dnieper River. Residents of the inundated parts of Kiev, including lowland left-bank sub-municipal districts, lowland right-bank Podil district and other flooded metropolitan localities, will be evacuated to the upstream highland area of the town of Vyshgorod.

New geography

After violent fluctuations of the poles with a complex trajectory, with different duration and intervals between the jerks of the poles, several years later (in terms of the current calculation of time) the new poles of the Earth will stabilize. The new equator will be along the following line: Bering Straits (which will become land by that time, as Chukchi Peninsula will join Alaska) – Ukraine – Cape Horn (the southern tip of South America). The new North Pole will be in the locality called Jerusalem, somewhere in the area of the present US-Canadian border. The new South Pole will be on the opposite side, somewhere in the area of the present Australia. The axis of the Earth will not be firmly fixed as now. The axis of the planet will oscillate with some radius, similar to the child’s spinning toy called “top” or “fizgig”. The line of the new equator will vacillate in Ukraine within the following limits: Donetsk region – Hungary, Slovakia (which will be by that time together with Ukraine and Moldova, as well as the Crimea that will reunite with Ukraine, and even some border regions of Belarus and Russia - within some new confederation that will form around Ukraine).

The shift of the Earth’s poles will change the world beyond all recognition, including topography, outlines of the continents and climate. For example, India will break away from the continent, and become separated by the sea sound. Apart from a string of mountainous islands along the present Pacific seaboard of America, there will be no more America. In the year 42 (in the new chronology), both North and South America will go under, sink to the depth, and completely disappear from the map.
