1. WHAT A JOB WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET?

Write one or two adjectives to characterize the job you would like.

Find out what kind of job is the most wanted in your group.

Group the words and phrases below into three categories.

Use these words and phrases to paraphrase the underlined parts of the sentences. Make any necessary changes.

1. She looks through newspapers and magazines every day. She is trying to find a job.

2. She has found a job she would like to get. She is going to make an official request for it.

3. To apply for this job you need to write a document giving details of your qualifications and the job you have had in the past.

4. I’m so nervous! I’m going to have a formal meeting in which I will be asked questions to find out if I’m suitable for the job.
