1 Наш мир стал более разнообразным из-за растущей миграции и глобализации. Разные страны имеют свои собственные территории, государственные системы с их правительствами, законы и постановления, которые затрагивают жизнь людей. И они все пытаются сохранить свою культуру, языки, обычаи, традиции, еду, одежду и праздники.

2 В большинстве европейских стран разрешено жениться в 18 лет (в 16 с разрешения родителей) В Шотландии молодые люди могут жениться в 61 без разрешения родителей. В Китае мужчина не может жениться раньше 22 лет, а женщина – раньше 20.

3 В Великобритании незаконно покупать алкоголь до достижения 18 лет (хотя вам разрешено его пить дома с 5 лет). В большинстве штатов США и Великобритании курение запрещено в барах и клубах, и не допускается пить алкоголь вне них.

4 Согласно законам Великобритании вам не разрешается водить машину до достижения 17 лет, в то же время в большинстве европейских стран – до 18. В США вы можете водить гораздо раньше, в некоторых штатах с 14 лет.

5 В отличии от Германии, в британских и Американских ресторанах приносят еду одновременно всем ха столом. Поэтому ждите пока приготовят для всех, прежде чем начнете есть. Американцы едят руками гораздо чаще чем Британцы или Ирландцы. Вы можете есть руками жареную курицу, картошку фри, пиццу и т.д. Используйте пальцы для косточек оливок и вилку – для куриных костей. С рыбьими костями тоже допускается использовать пальцы.

6 В день свадьбы в Великобритании, Северной Америке и Австралии невесты носят что-то старое, что-то новое, что-то одолженное и что-то синее на удачу. В Турции подружки невесты пишут свои имена в ее обуви. После свадебной церемонии невеста смотрит на свою обувь. Если она не может прочитать имя кого-то из подруг, это значит что она выйдет замуж следующей.

7 В Китае Новый год длится 15 дней. Китайцы украшают свои дома, раскрашивают двери красным – цвет удачи для них. Они готовят специальную еду и в полночь запускают фейерверки. На следующий день смотрят фантастичный парад. В Тайване дети любят новый год, потому что они получают красные конверты с деньгами от своих родителей. В Эквадоре люди говорят «пока» старому году сжигая в большом огне чучело в человеческий рост, одетое в старую одежду. Молодые люди одеваются ведьмами и скелетами и просят деньги на празднование нового года.
