Россия гордится тем что имеет одну из самых лучших систем образования в мире, хорошо известную по величайшим научным и техническим достижениям, многочисленными Нобелевскими лауреатами, деятелями культуры и спорта международного уровня, и богатейшими ресурсами. Каждый год десятки тысяч студентов со всего мира приезжают учиться в Россию, чтобы получить престижное, всемирно признанное и доступное образование

Преимущества высшего образования в России для иностранных студентов:

- Российская система высшего образования состоит из более чем 650 государственных университетов, в которых учится около 7 миллионов человек, более 165 000 из которых приехали из более чем 200 стран.

- Российское высшее образование предлагает более двухсот медицинских, инженерных, экономических и гуманитарных специальностей.

- Российское высшее образование дает возможность доступа к самым современным лабораториям и научно-техническим центрам.

- Высоко квалифицированный технический персонал российских государственных университетов (примерно 80% профессоров имеют докторскую степень) гарантирует высококачественное образование.

- Учеба иностранцев в российских государственных университетах на 80% субсидируется Правительством России, делая учебу доступной (примерная стоимость учебного года, включая проживание в общежитии – 2500-4000 долларов)

Один учебный год в Российских университетах длится 10 месяцев (с 1 сентября до 30 июня). Учебный год делится на два семестра: первый семестр – с первого сентября до 25 января, второй семестр – с девятого февраля по тридцатое июня. В конце каждого семестра студенты сдают зачеты и экзамены по тем предметам, которые они проходили. Между семестрами у студентов каникулы: зимние (2 недели: с 25 января по 9 февраля) и летние (два месяца: с первого июля по 30 августа). Во время зимних и летних каникул студенты могут или остаться в России или поехать домой.

Оценочная система в Российской Федерации:

5- отлично (зачет)

4- хорошо (зачет)

3 – удовлетворительно (зачет)

2- неудовлетворительно (незачет)

Режим и язык обучения. В России есть разные режимы обучения: очный, c частичной занятостью (вечерние и заочные программы курсов) и дастанционное обучение, хотя для иностранных студентов доступно только очное обучение (студенты из СНГ могут так же учиться дистанционно) Обучение в России происходит на русском языке. На некоторых специальностях обучение проводится на английском (около 20 специальностей) и французском (в основном, медицина, фармакология)

Квалификация. После успешного завершения университета, студенты получают академические степени:

- степень "Бакалавр наук", длительность курса: 4 года

-степень "Магистр наук", длительность курса: 2 года

- квалификация "Специалист" или "Инженер-Специалист" длительность курса: 5 лет.

-последипломное обучение, ведущее к докторской диссертации, длительность курса - 3 года.

Выпускники так же могут получить "Европейской Приложение" которое позволяет им получать эквивалентность квалификации в любой из 47 европейских и других стран, пописавших Болонскую декларацию. Это позволяет выпускникам продолжить образование или найти работу в этих странах.
