Opt for gentle, natural alternatives, such as soap nuts for laundry, vinegar and water solutions for counter top cleaning, and baking soda and peroxide for cleaning and whitening surfaces, laundry, teeth, etc.

nutritional supplements & herbs to consider
These recommendations are made as a starting point. Do your own research and determine which supplements may serve you best. It’s best to get as many of your nutrients from food as possible.
VITAMIN A (retinol) helps to maintain the integrity of the mucosal lining of the gut and may preserve/improve vision. It is also helpful in maintaining immunity when balanced with vitamin D, and it is necessary for the assimilation of dietary minerals.
FERMENTED COD LIVER OIL/BUTTER OIL BLEND for fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2 as well as some omega 3 fats. I only recommend Green Pasture brand.
B VITAMINS are critical in assisting neurotransmitters for improved brain health, as well as nerve and muscular activities. Look for a B-complex supplement with B12.
VITAMIN C is a potent antioxidant.
CURCUMIN is a potent antioxidant that supports immune health.
COENZYME Q10 (CoQ10, ubiquinone) enhances mitochondrial (cellular) energy production, and it can help alleviate fatigue, as well as muscle/joint pain. It is also a potent antioxidant; statin drugs are known to deplete CoQ10.
DIINDOYLMETHANE (DIM) may inhibit tumor formation and help to induce cancer cell
apoptosis (cell death) in breast, colon, prostate, and lung cancers.
VITAMIN E is an antioxidant that benefits neurological function, smooth muscle growth, and cellular communication. It may also reduce oxidative stress-induced insulin resistance.
EPIGALLOCATECHIN GALLATE (EGCG/green tea extract) is a potent antioxidant flavonoid that promotes angiogenesis. It may be best to wait three weeks post-chemo to consume.
GLUTATHIONE is an antioxidant that aids in liver detox processes and the regeneration of vitamins A, C, and E.
HERBS AND TEAS:
Green tea (for EGCG), ginger
L-GLUTAMINE aids in the healing of the epithelial cells that line the small intestine.
LIPOIC ACID (alpha-lipoic acid/ALA) has antioxidant properties and may motivate greater glucose uptake from the bloodstream by promoting the conversion of carbohydrates into energy.
MAGNESIUM is required for more than 300 enzymatic processes in the body, and most people are deficient in it. Look for magnesium glycinate or magnesium malate forms.
N-ACETYL CYSTEINE (NAC) supports liver function.
OMEGA-3 FATS are anti-inflammatory essential fatty acids. I only recommend Green Pasture brand fermented cod liver oil.
PROTEOLYTIC ENZYMES are anti-inflammatory and may alter cytokine (inflammatory mediator) expression.
SELENIUM & ZINC are antioxidants that protect against free radical damage. They are difficult to obtain in sufficient amounts solely from food sources.
