PROTEIN
Add protein to satisfy appetite for longer periods of time (meals focused on both fat and protein will help).
NUTRIENT-DENSE FOODS
Replenish depleted nutrient stores from eating excess refined foods over time.
SUPERFOODS
Eat superfoods often as possible. Make and eat/drink bone broth and liver regularly (recipe here). Use the sauerkraut recipe here to make fermented carrots or beets and eat them daily (1/4 cup), especially with breakfast to aid in gastrointestinal motility and eliminations.
SUN EXPOSURE
Safe sun exposure daily for about ten minutes when the sun is at its peak or longer when the sun is not as strong to promote vitamin D production; do not burn.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
Manage stress to keep systemic inflammation low and avoid blood sugar imbalances. Develop a guided meditation practice, or begin to practice Qi Gong.
MOVEMENT
Take walks outside, or practice gentle yoga for movement without systemic stress.
