STARCHY CARBOHYDRATES
Maintain a total carbohydrate intake of around 50g per day. Measure and create a food journal if necessary to keep track.
RESTAURANTS/DINING OUT
Avoid damaged and manmade fats most often used in restaurant foods.
SWEETENERS, CAFFEINE
These can all provoke blood sugar fluctuations and systemic stress.
ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, NICOTINE & MSG (MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE)
These are products that require detoxification and/or may have some neurotoxic effects.
HARSH CHEMICAL CLEANING OR HYGIENE PRODUCTS
Opt for gentle, natural alternatives, such as soap nuts for laundry, vinegar and water solutions for counter top cleaning, and baking soda and peroxide for cleaning and whitening surfaces, laundry, teeth, etc.
TYRAMINES
Contained in fermented foods if you are prone to migraines.
