In the market of computer products the number of learning programs, electronic textbooks, etc. increases every year. At the same time disputes on what shall be "the electronic textbook", what functions "are imputed to it a duty" don't cease. Traditional creation of EU: presentation of a training material, practical part, testing.

Now the following requirements are imposed to textbooks:

1. Information on the selected course shall be well structured and represent itself the finished fragments of course with limited number of new concepts.

2. Each fragment, along with the text, shall provide information in audio-or video ("live lectures"). The line of the scrolling, allowing to repeat lecture from any place will be a mandatory member of the interface for live lectures.

3. Text information can duplicate some part of live lectures.

4. On the illustrations representing difficult models or devices, there shall be the instantaneous help appearing or disappearing synchronously with movement of the cursor on separate elements of an illustration (a card, the plan, the diagram, the drawing of assembly of a product, the control panel object, etc.).

5. The text part shall be accompanied by the numerous cross-references, allowing to reduce search time of necessary information, and also powerful retrieval center. Connection of the specialized explanatory dictionary on this data domain can be a perspective element.

6. Video information or animations shall accompany with sections which are difficult for understanding in normal presentation. In this case time expenses for users are five-ten times less in comparison with the traditional textbook. Generally the person can't describe some phenomena, never their seeing (falls, fire, etc.). Video clips allow to change time scale and to show the phenomena in the accelerated, slow-motion or selective shot.

7. Existence of audio information which in many cases is the main and sometimes irreplaceable informative part of the textbook.

Operation modes of the electronic

Textbook

It is possible to select 3 main operation modes of EU:

• training without check;

• training with check in case of which at the end of each chapter (paragraph) the trainee is offered to answer some questions, allowing to define a level of assimilation of a material;

• the test monitoring intended for total monitoring of knowledge with exposure of an assessment.

Now the following requirements are imposed to textbooks: structuredness, convenience in the address, visualization of the explained material. To meet above-mentioned requirements, use of hypertext technology is expedient.

The electronic version of the textbook contains in itself and monitoring aids as monitoring of knowledge is one of the main problems in training. Long time in a domestic education system monitoring of knowledge was, as a rule, spent in the oral form. At the present stage different methods of testing are applied. Many, of course, don't share this line item, reading that tests exclude such necessary skills, as analysis, comparison, etc. In systems of remote learning application new technologies gives the chance to solve a problem in a new way qualitatively. We put in electronic version of the textbook Thus, it is possible to hope that application of new information technologies promote learning efficiency increase, and also are the irreplaceable tool by independent preparation being trained.

It is known that for the active mastering specific data domain it is necessary not only to study the theory, but also to create practical skills in the solution of tasks. For this purpose it is necessary to learn to build physical models of studied processes and the phenomena, to project algorithms of the decision and to implement them in the form of programs. For achievement of this purpose a series of the model programs providing a graphic illustration of structure and operation of algorithms that allows not only to raise a level of their understanding is included in EU composition, but also promotes development in the school student of intuition and figurative thinking.
