Exercise 1. Make sentences interrogative.

Example: The lecture on civil law is on Monday. (What/Which) – What is on Monday? Which lecture is on Monday?

Exercise 2. Open the brackets and put the verb into the correct form.

Exercise 3. Complete the sentences using one of these verbs.

Exercise 4. Correct the mistakes where necessary.

Exercise 5. Translate the following sentences from Russian into English.

1. Семинар по теории государства и права пройдет во вторник в 9.40. 2. Адвокат опросит всех свидетелей преступления в ближайшее время. 3. Рассмотрение этого громкого дела будет 25 декабря в здании мирового суда. 4. Делегация правительства Китая прилетит 10 ноября. 5. Поезд, который доставит обвиняемого в терроризме, прибудет в 5 часов. 6. Обсуждение итогов работы комиссии по делам несовершеннолетних пройдет 25 мая. 7. Судебное разбирательство причин авиакатастрофы состоится 14 июля. 8. Поверенный приезжает в Лондон пятого сентября, чтобы собрать необходимые документы. 9. Детектив собирается приехать, чтобы опросить местных жителей. 10. Секретарь суда придет в зал суда через минуту. 11.
