Ex. 4. Role play. Make up dialogues based on the situations below

1) You are a journalist interviewing a famous mountain climber. Think of the questions you might ask and the answers you might get.

2) You are chatting with your friend about the way you both spend free time. You are a clubber and your friend is a coach potato. Each of you gives your own reasons.

3) You are an exchange student in England. You discuss with your English friend possible differences between the British and Russian leisure.

Ex.5. Read and translate the statements below. Find the Russian equivalents to the sayings and proverbs.

1) Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body (Joseph Addison).

2) We are what we read (Mark Miller).

3) The busiest people have the most leisure time (Saying).
