I. Reading
Healthy lifestyle means being at a healthy weight, eating healthy food, doing enough exercise, not having bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol etc.

You should start with making small changes like adding fruit to your cereals, having an extra glass of water, doing more exercises and activities like house holding chores, gardening, walking, and playing games outdoors. You should make a list of all the physical activities you do on a typical day and make another list of all the ways you could move more - getting up each hour to stretch or walk, walk the stairs, etc. Eating a healthy diet is an important part of the healthy lifestyle, too.

Making small changes in how you live each day can be rewarding, so do your best to be healthy today.

II. Writing
Dear Emily,
Thanks for your letter. I think it's great that your family is planning to spend a year in Ukraine, and of course I'd be happy to give you any information about schooling here.
In Ukraine the school year starts on the 1st of September. It lasts from September till May. The year is scheduled into two semesters (September - December; January - May). There are also school holidays in autumn and in spring. In total the school year lasts for 36 weeks. The students learn Ukrainian and Russian languages. They also study the first foreign language in the first or second form. This can be English, French, Germany and even Spanish. They begin to study the second foreign language in the fifth form.
Ukrainian students are friendly and hospitable. So, don't worry - your sister will definitely find new friends in her new school.
That's all for now. Please write soon and tell me all your news.
Kind regards,
Kate

III. Speaking
"People behave differently when they wear different clothes". Initially, I agree that certain types of clothes affect one's behaviour. For example, the students who are dressed up act much more responsibly than they do when they are in their everyday street clothes. The same is true of adults. Therefore, I believe that wearing different clothes is not the only factor to how a person behaves.

First of all, a person chooses what to wear on a particular day base on how he/she feels. A person wears comfortable clothes when he/ she wants to feel comfortable. A person who is comfortable acts more sociable. Besides, certain colours affect your mood. Therefore, it is not these blue, or red, black or white clothes that affect a person's behaviour but rather the colour that sets the mood.

Secondly, people wear different clothes on different occasions and different occasions call for a different type of behaviour. When a person goes to his work or attends a corporate meeting, he/she usually wears a business suit and acts professionally. When a person goes to a disco, he/she will usually wear party clothes and act like there is not tomorrow. Therefore, it is not the business suit, or party clothes that affect a person's behaviour but the occasion one will attend to.

Finally, we wear different clothes because the society is judgemental when it comes to your appearance and clothes. All of us are individuals who are the building blocks of what we call the "society". As individuals, we constantly seek the acceptance and approval of the society we belong. These acceptance and approval may be in the form of a compliment or respect. A person chooses clothes to wear based on what he/she thinks is presentable, respectable and dignified to the society. In the elite society, to be accepted means to wear only expensive and luxurious clothes. Therefore, it is not these expensive, luxurious, latest trends, muscle shirts and mini skirts that affects a person's behaviour but the society they belong to.

It may seem that different clothes influence a person's behaviour because they are worn for specific reasons such as how one feels that day, what mood one would want to set, the occasion one will attend to, and the society one belongs to. I conclude that different clothes do not influence a person's behaviour but all the specific reasons stated above.
