Rules for pre-selection of Participants

DATE OF THE STREET WORKOUT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 FOR WOMEN

1.1 The SWWC 2014 will take place on 20 September 2014, in Amsterdam, Netherland.

ORGANIZERS OF THE STREET WORKOUT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014

2.1 The SWWC 2014 will be organized by the Federation and local organisation "24svenbarz", Member of Federation's International Advisory board Chiovanna Wattimena and with the support of sponsors.

GENERAL TERMS OF SWWC 2014

3.1 The SWWC 2014 will be organized as a live one-day competition with athletes being present and competing against each other face-to-face.
3.2 Each Participant of the SWWC 2014 will be officially representing his country of citizenship and/or permanent residence.
3.3 All Participants will be treated on equal terms, respecting their nationality, race and religion to the extent practically possible.
3.4 Winner of the SWWC 2014 will obtain the title of “Street Workout World Champion 2014 for Women” in street workout “freestyle” category.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS AND COMPETITION TIME

4.1 It is reasonable to set limit for the number of Participants taking part in SWWC 2014 to be able to organize the event within the time during which viewers are capable of keeping continuous interest in the competition.
4.2 There will be two (2) rounds in SWWC 2014. All Participants will participate in both rounds.
4.3 Both rounds of the competition have to be completed within one and the same day.
4.4 If the time of the competition has to be restricted (due to a TV translation requirements or other reasons), after the first round the judges will select by voting fifteen (15) best Participants who will proceed to the second round. The rest of the Participants will discontinue the competition. In that case the first round will be the qualification round (“Qualification”) and the second round will be the final round (“Final”).
4.5 In case of television translations technical intermissions may be applied during the competition.

RULES FOR PRE-SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS

5.1 Athletes from all around the world are allowed to apply and participate in SWWC 2014. The Applicants must have legal rights to travel and enter Netherlands.
5.2 To the extent practically possible the Street Workout National Championship 2014 (competition for pre-selection to SWWC 2014) of the Participant Country must be organized as a live competition with athletes being present and competing against each other face-to-face.
5.3 In case it is impossible to organize live competition as required in Clause 5.2 competition for pre-selection to SWWC 2014 may also be done by means of online contest where Applicants submit application videos.
5.4 The Applicants have a chance to apply through a video contest as follows:
5.4.1 To apply each Applicant has to send filled and signed application form (enclosed as Annex 1) and two (2) minutes long video material to the Federation’s e-mail address: [e-mail]. The Federation will promptly review the application form and will forward the application video to the judges.
5.4.2 The Applicants will be chosen by the quality of their performance in their submitted videos, thus giving an opportunity to highly talented athletes to show their abilities in SWWC 2014.
5.4.3 The selected Applicants must be able to cover their travel and accommodation costs.
5.4.4 Application videos will be passed to judges appointed by the Federation and best Applicants from each Participant country will be pre-selected as Participants of the SWWC 2014.
5.4.5 Final date to submit application videos for all countries is 10 August 2014.
5.5 In each Participant Country the best one (1) or two (2) Participants who will receive the highest judges’ scores in the Street Workout National Championship 2014 (competition for selection to SWWC 2014) or online video competition will automatically obtain the right to participate in the SWWC 2014 (“Selected Participants”).
5.6 Participant Countries that have long established traditions in organizing of street workout social events and competitions, visible development of street workout culture, significant amount of people involved in street workout movement and a track record of participation in previous Street Workout World Championships for men will have the right to send two (2) Selected Participants to represent the Participant Country in the SWWC 2014. These are the following twenty (20) counties:

5.6.3 Ukraine;
5.6.4 Spain;
5.6.5 France;
5.6.6 Croatia;
5.6.7 Belarus;
5.6.8 Israel;
5.6.9 Norway;
5.6.10 Netherlands;
5.6.11 UK;
5.6.12 Germany;
5.6.13 Italy;
5.6.14 Poland;
5.6.15 Latvia;
5.6.16 Lithuania;
5.6.17 Estonia;
5.6.18 Portugal;
5.6.19 Bulgaria;
5.6.20 Hungary.
5.7 Other Participant Countries (not listed above) will have the right to send only one (1) Selected Participant to represent the Participant Country in the SWWC 2014.
