Topic 8. Dynamic series analysis
The purpose - fastening of a theoretical and practical material on a theme «The analysis of dynamics», purchase of skills of definition of mean indices of dynamics.
The task - to lead the analysis of dynamics lines, to give economic interpretation of the calculated parameters.

Exercises for practical lessons
1. The profit of commercial bank is characterized by following data, thousand grn (tab. 15).

For the analysis of profit dynamics calculate:
1. For 2006 - 2010: absolute increases, rates of growth and rates of an increase (on years and to basic 2006); absolute values of one percent of an increase. The received parameters present in the form of the table. Check up interrelation between chain and basic rates of growth.
2. Average annual growth rates and rates of increase of profit for: 2002 - 2006; 2006 - 2010; 2002 - 2010
3. The average level of profit for 2006 - 2010 and an average absolute increase of profit for this period.
Draw an analytical conclusion by results of calculations.
2. The volume of production of the machine-building enterprise for 10 years has increased in 2,3 times, thus the mid-annual gain for first five years has made 7 %. Determine a mid-annual gain for last 5 years.
3. What should be mid-annual rates of a gain that for three years production of an industrial output has increased with 18 up to 20 million grn?
4. Using interrelation of characteristics of dynamics, determine volumes of the goods production, absolute and relative speed of volumes reduction (tab. 16).
