Could you meet me at the airport, please?   4. Domodedovo airport. 5. We are arriving on the first of June at 4 p.m. 6. It’s BA957.   7. Thank you very much, but we are a group of students and we have already booked a hotel. 8. Yes, of course. We are going to visit the Kremlin, Red Square, the Tretyakov Gallery and some other places. 9. Unfortunately, we forgot to book tickets there.   10. That’ll be great. Thanks and see you soon.

1. Hi, Jake. It’s me. Glad to hear you. How are you? 2. Fine, too. Have you passed your exams? 3. Certainly. It’s a great surprise! What airport are you arriving?     4. And when are you coming? 5. What’s the number of your flight? 6. I’ve put it down. I’ll meet you. By the way, you can stay in our flat. 7. Have you booked any excursions?     8. Are you going to the Bolshoy Theatre?   9. Talking about your friend’s trip to an English speaking country he has just returned from. You haven’t seen your friend for a month.

1. Hi, Peter! Haven’t seen you for ages. Where have you been?   2. It sounds great. How long have you been there?   3. Where did you stay there?     4. Oh, cool! Was it a free exchange program or did you go there at your own expense? 5. They say, that students don’t only improve their language skills at special trainings, but an interesting entertainment program is included. 6. What exactly did you visit? And what impressed you most of all?   7. Did you watch the ceremony of changing of the guard in front of Buckingham Palace?   8. The other day I saw a TV program about Madame Tussaud’s Museum. Did you have a chance to visit it? 9. And you want to say you really saw the wax figures of Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and the Beatles!   10. Wow! I am infected by the idea of visiting London through this program.

1. Hello, Nick! I have been to London with a group of students from our school. 2. Oh, for two weeks. We went there at the end of March and returned only two days ago. 3. We lived in a youth hostel. You know, I shared a room with two guys from Greece. 4. I had to pay to be a participant of this program. And I didn’t regret my decision. 5. You are absolutely right. Every day after our sessions we had different excursions about the city.   6. Well, I was fascinated by all the sights of London. Everything seemed so unusual. But most of all I was impressed by Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral, because these sights plunge us into the atmosphere of historical London. 7. Oh, yes, we did. We tried to follow the procession, but unfortunately, the policeman stopped us from doing that. 8. The day before our departure all the students of our group went there.   9. Sure, it is funny but they are in the same Hall. I embraced Elizabeth II and David Beckham and asked my friend to take photos. Here they are! 10.
