Public relation is an important tool as it create a public perception of the products that a business firm produces, the importance of promoting the small and local business to the public services the larger picture of the benefits that the society will get. This study will serve a purpose to help Bosoff handmade a local brand in St. Petersburg, Russia promote its footwear business by using the public a role to the development of a larger market for the products and through which more revenue which the can intensify they strength in market which is predominated by western brands.

This study will also be an advantage to manufacturers, corporate associations, people and customers in the accompanying ways: It will outfit contending firms with enough realities as respects elements impacting the buyers' decisions of obtaining footwear. Through these discoveries, makers of footwear items may have the capacity to focus better methods for enhancing their item execution in order to have positive impact on buyer buy choice

 

Scope of the project

This research is based on the study of the role of public relations as a tool to promote handmade shoe industry in Saint Petersburg. All the outcomes, findings and recommendations are eligible only to Russia. Moreover, due to difficulties of expanding questionnaire samples of respondents of different cities, the research is mostly based on receiving information from the respondents of one city in Russia - Saint Petersburg.

Commercial Collaboration

Since the proposal is a type of contract to deliver certain results, it is a mistake to “promise mountains and deliver molehills”. (Walliman N., 2004)

The main results of the study can be used to analyze the current problems in the industry of manufacturing handmade shoes and to develop effective ways to increase sales promotion in these poisons with the aid of public relations tools specific to the current market situation.

The practical significance of the study is as follows:

Ø Developed the conditions to ensure the effective organization and formation of PR-activity;

Ø Found techniques and means of advertising and public relations to promote shoe brands;

Ø Consider the characteristics of handmade shoes for example salon «Bosoff»;

Develop a program of discovery and promotion of the new showroom of the company

 

 

Deliverables

The study allowed:

To deepen and systematize the theoretical knowledge in the field of shoes retail in Russia

To improve knowledge in marketing and PR in the sector of goods and services;

Also helped in the development of self-promotional activities on the market shoes brands.

To study the characteristics of the hand-made shoe industry as by the example of the company «Bosoff» and developing a program of discovery and promotion of her new salon.
