Pre-reading tasks

I. Translate in writing

  1. She laughed at them, loud happy laughter, as she got to her feet and began to lead the way to a little hut made of palm-leaves.

Read part of the chapter on pp. 57-64

Prepare a good reading and translate the passage beginning with “No, he didn’t care…” on p. 62 and ending with “…. Tremble in their hands”.
