POSTOOLATE. Agenda
Introdiction
The "POSTOOLATE" — is a project of exhibition of author's vision of chair as utilitarian and art object, artistic image in the visual arts. Chair accompanies us everywhere in any of its image, it is a thing for comfort. It is self-explanatory in such a large extent, that it is escaping from view. Everyday life hides its symbolic value from us, dosen't permit us to unveil its ideological content."POSTOOLATE" unite designers, artists and producers, which tries to establish a dialogue between the idea and practice, to change the view of the general public about the importance of things in the flow of everyday life.
The central event of “POSTOOLATE” is a large exhibition at the "University of Culture" gallery, which introduced the innovations of modern Belarusian designers, architects, sculptors, painters and photographrs. More than 100 creative works, united by one idea, one exhibition space. Exhibitors - Sergei Grinevich, Constantine Vaschenko Ruslan found Viktor Minko, Vadim Kachan and many others - more than 90 authors, including designers from Russia and Estonia.
The "POSTOOLATE" marked the beginning of a unique collection of the Museum of the Belarusian chair, the idea of which belongs to the Belarusian producer of chairs - the company "Goldoptima."
