Subjunctive Mood and Conditionals

Put the verbs in the brackets into the correct form.

(if + a present tense), [a future/present tense or imperative]

 

1. If I (have) enough time tomorrow, I (write) to my parents. 2. Take the day off if you (not feel) well tomorrow. 3. If I (not eat) breakfast tomorrow morning, I (get) hungry during class. 4. If Jack (refuse) to help we (have to) manage without him. 5. If you (hear) from Tom let me know please. 6. I’m not expecting any messages, but if anyone (ring) while I’m out, say that I’ll be right back. 7. Unless Tome (take) his library book back tomorrow he (have to) pay a fine. 8. If he (see) her he (give) her a lift. 9. Unless you (be) more careful you (have) an accident. 10. Should you (require) anything else please ring the bell for the attendant.

 

(if + past simple/progressive), [would + simple/progressive infinitive]
