Overview
This high-tech easy to use Car Head-Up Display is plug-and-play and can be easily installed into cars with OBD (Bus Automatic Diagnostic System) interface allowing the vehicle information to be projected onto the windshield in front of driver. This allows the driver to focus on the road ahead while still being informed about the engine condition and vehicle speed. The major features are as follows:
l Big display panel: 5.5-inch high brightness clear display.
l Bigger Icons: More visible for driver, reducing eye strain.
l High brightness LED: Super bright LEDs ensure good visibility even under strong sun light. The brightness automatically adjusts to ambient light.
l Time Display: The first HUD with time display.
l Remote Control: Allows convenient operation using the remote. It also comes with an anti-slip mat so that it can be mounted anywhere.
l Dual OBD ports ЈєAllows more options when installing the connection cable.
l Accessories ЈєPolarizing film, anti-slip mat for HUD and remote.
Installation
A. Connect the HUD to OBD port
All newer vehicles have an OBD interface, which is normally located to the left under the steering wheel.
l As shown below, the white part is OBD.
l Connect the HUD with OBD by plugging the T-shape end into the OBD interface, and plug the small end to the OBD interface on HUD. There are two OBD interface ports on the HUD; use the one that is better for the cable layout.
l Turn on the HUD by sliding the power on/off switch to ON position. It will initialize itself and then enter working mode.
b. Where to put the HUD in the car
To ensure good visibility and safety, it is recommended to put the HUD on the dash board under the windshield and in front driverЎЇs line of sight directly, so that driver does not need to look to left or right.
