Panel interview – an interview which allows to interview one or more candidates by a panel of interviewers.
‘Deep-end’ interview – during such an interview an applicant has to demonstrate how she/he can cope in actual business situations
Progress interview – an interview where employers have a chance to review the work they are doing and to set objectives for the future. Such interviews usually take place after a new employee has been working with a company for several months, and after that, they can take place once or twice a year.

Imagine that you want to apply for one of the jobs, listed below. Write a CV (you may want to make up relevant experience and education) and an application letter.
a) We are a well-known international manufacturer, based in the UK, and we are expanding our export marketing activities in our European headquarters in London. We are looking for a lively and intelligent person to join our team as soon as possible. The work will involve working in our London office, telephoning and corresponding with our overseas clients and agents, and some travel, mainly to European countries. Applicants should be fluent in at least one foreign language. Experience in marketing would be an asset but not essential.
b) We are looking for efficient and highly motivated Administrative secretary to help with the organization and running of international conferences. The ideal candidate should have previous relevant experience, including fast, accurate typing. Responsibilities will include liaison with speakers, travel and accommodation arrangements and preparing publicity material for publication.
c) Large international organization seeks experienced export area manager to expand in Russia. Based in London you will be travelling up to 4 months a year, be responsible for business development and co-ordination of technical support staff. Fluent English is a must and previous experience in export sales is essential.
