Being a business woman has its advantages and its disadvantages. Thought business success strategies are not different for women or men, women do have traits that help them in starting and running a business.

The most powerful advantage that women have is the development of a "intuition muscle". Women have got an idea, nobody believes in it, people try to reason with them and stop from doing it. Yet, women ignore all the naysayers and move ahead, following their instinct. It seems mad, but it works very successful. Someone that doesn't listen to his inner voice and waits for perfect timing or a logical explanation of why he or she should start a business usually will never start.

The next one advantage is multitask oriented. Women are known for juggling many tasks at the same time and still producing excellent results. A woman can talk on the phone, open and read her email and schedule what else she needs to finish for the rest of the day all at the same time. Men have more trouble with this multitasking thing, therefore sometimes they miss many opportunities [3].

Women connect more easily with people. They love to have a support group at work and at their personal lives. As a result we find it easier to ask for help in our businesses. Actually, we focus a lot on activities that can find the appropriate resources to help us out. Men, in contrast, sometimes wait too long before asking for help and this can often costs them business.

Women are natural marketers. They are so passionate and enthusiastic about what they choose to do that they just do not stop talking about it. They don't forget to emphasize the benefits of their services to their potential customers. They understand how to accentuate the positive [1].

Women are real pros at using their contacts. We also tend to create new contacts and friendships that get us where we want to go. This feature of our personalities certainly plays a vital role in our business success.

The last one important advantage is women instead of trying to fit themselves into business that weren’t designed for them, they are able to create corporate cultures that are conducive to the type of lives they lead. Women want companies that make it easy for them to have a family, to live the lifestyle they want and support their values [3].

As for disadvantages to be a business woman one of the most significant concerns for female entrepreneurs is the ability to balance professional and family responsibilities. Women are more likely to shoulder a greater share of child-rearing duties. Children may demand their mothers' undivided attention, which can be a challenge for female entrepreneurs to deal with. Running a business requires a great deal of time, which may conflict with one's family obligations. Women in this situation must balance their family life with their duties as business woman. For example, parents can communicate about the need to devote some time during the day solely on business, while other times can be devoted to family matters [2].

The next disadvantage is lack of networks. Women in business are more likely to encounter difficulty because they are less likely to be associated with networks of people who can help them launch and sustain businesses. "Networks" include people who provide mentorship, referrals, help and valuable information to entrepreneurs. Men tend to dominate the highest levels of corporate leadership. Therefore, there are less women available to provide valuable advice to female entrepreneurs. Women also face "customer/supplier" discrimination, which occurs when customers or suppliers discriminate against women like a leader. In response, women business leaders can create their own networks to cultivate the success of female entrepreneurs.

Both men and women can face issues of self-doubt, or lack confidence to compete in the business market, men do not suffer from the same degree of "prejudgment" as do business women. For example, male business leaders may not believe that their female counterparts can compete or innovate to the degree that men can. The basis of these views are stereotypes about women. Having female mentors and confidants can help instill self confidence in your abilities as a female, which is doing business [2].
