Integration of music - speech - dance as process

„The basic pedagogical and artistic meanings of Orff-Schulwerk

in dialogue with innovative researches of creativity and intercultural music-education.”

This course takes place for the third time in the old Slovak University Town of Nitra which lies about 150 km north of Vienna. The participants will be hosted in the excellent adapted building of Priest’s Seminar all facilities with board and room. Large seminar rooms are situated in the same building.

This course project was brought to life in 1996 in Slavonice / CZ. With the special support by the fond of Liselotte Orff and the Carl Orff Foundation 16 International Seminars could be carried out till this day. Aim and content of these advanced training events are the deepening and support of a comprehensive and contemporary music and dance education in schools as well as in the training of teachers of the most different educational institutions. The artistic and pedagogical bases are given by internationally approved Orff pedagogues. This course is open to prospective customer from the whole world.

LECTURERS AND PROGRAMMES

1. LENKA POSPISILOVA

(Prague, Czech-Republic)

Graduated in music education and Czech language at the pedagogical faculty of the Charles University in Prague. Music teacher in a high school and elementary school in Prague. Educator of didactic approaches to music on the Pedagogical faculty of the Charles University in Prague. Lecturer of international courses in the Czech Republic and abroad (Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Turkey, Italy, Australia and at the Orff Institute in Salzburg).

Themes of curriculum:

Music education as a holistic creative process by including the basic principles of Orff-Schulwerk, various forms of singing, playing Orff-and classical instruments, movement, listening, improvisation, drama etc.

2. LEONARDO REVEIRO HOLGADES
(Vienna, Austria - Spain)

Graduated in music at the Real Conservatorio Superior in Madrid and at the University of Mozarteum - "Orff Institute" Salzburg. Teaching with emphasis on "relationship between musical language and body language." Course activities in Europe (Spain, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Austria, China and South America). Numerous lectures and publications. Projects with music and movement for children and adults. Lives since September 1998 in Vienna, teacher of "Elementary Music Education" at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz and at the Art University - Graz.

Themes of Curriculum:

MUSICAL - SCENIC GAME
The event provides students with opportunities to express themselves through language, music and dance. The artistic and educational work in groups promotes the creative people, encourages improvisation and scenic design.
