11.1. The competition venue shall ensure comfortable conditions for practicing and competing of participating couples, for work of experts and a good view for spectators. The venue shall have easy access routs for public conveyances and private cars.
11.2. The venue must have the following premises:
- a hall for performance of dancing couples;
- an area for registration of participating couples;
- a room (area) for work of Registering Commission;
- a room (area) for work of Scrutineering Commission;
- a room (area) for preparation of the participants to the performance;
- a room for Expert Commission (adjudicators room);
- a cloakroom for outer clothing of participating couples and spectators (if necessary);
- an area (notice board) for displaying information about running of the competition.
11.3. The hall for performance of dancing couples besides the dance floor shall also have an area for work of Expert Commission (adjudicators) and places for spectators.
11.4. The dance floor usable area shall be at least:
- 200 square meters for International Open competitions
- 250 square meters for title events.
11.5. The number of seats for spectators shall be at least 50% of the expected participants number. The seats arrangement shall ensure good and comfortable view of dancers performance.
11.6. The Scrutineering Commission shall have a separated area in the hall for performance of dancing couples or a separate room. Only members of the Scrutineering Commission, the Chairman of Expert Commission and IDU official representative shall have access to this area or this room during the competition.
11.7. A room (area) for preparation of the participants to the performance shall have enough chairs, hangers for dance dresses, electric sockets with voltage of 220 V. The air temperature in this room shall not be lower than 18 C.
11.8. A room for Expert Commission shall be used by the competitions experts for holding consultations; this room shall also be used for organizing meals and repose for the experts. Only members of the Expert Commission, IDU official representative and persons who have permission of the Chairman of Expert Commission shall have access to this room.
11.9. The dance hall shall be equipped with the adequate sound system. The lighting of the dance floor area shall correspond to the norm of visual perception.
11.10. The desktop of the Chairman of Expert Commission shall be placed near the dance floor.
11.11. The Experts working places shall be equipped with document cases and plates with numbers from 1 till 8 for visual marking (if such a marking is planned).
11.12. An area (notice board) for displaying information about running the competition can be in the dancing hall or in a separate room. All the time in this room (on the notice board) the following information shall be displayed: the competition program, results of preliminary rounds etc. Only the Chairman of Expert Commission of this competition, the Chairman and members of the Scrutineering Commission shall have right to put up and to take away the displayed information. Competitors, coaches and team representatives noticed when putting up (taking away) information in this room (notice board) will be penalized right up to imposing a ban on their participation in the competition.
