Internationalization

Softline has offices in 24 countries and 66 cities around the world.[67] The first office abroad was opened in 2002 in Kiev, Ukraine. Two years later Softline set up its offices in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Asteros

About

The history of Asteros started in 1998 when BAC Company was created. The new company’s main area of activity became the delivery of integrated solutions in the field of office automation. The company carried out a range of large-scale projects, the biggest of which was the construction of an IT-infrastructure for a branch of PricewaterhouseCoopers.[69] In 2008 the decision was taken to introduce a new brand to the market – Asteros (link to Asteros today). Thus, the Asteros Group appeared on the IT market, bringing with it the unique expertise and accrued experience of BAC. Asteros Group includes some of the strongest IT market players such as Asteros, KABEST, Asteros Consulting and Asteros Labs.[70]

Today Asteros is the second largest systems integrator in Russia, according to IDC, and the #1 Russian provider of infrastructure solutions for offices and facilities in CNews Analytics ranking.[71] Asteros has four main lines of business: Consulting and Business Applications, IT Infrastructure and Engineering Systems, Information Security, and IT Outsourcing. Asteros Group comprises Asteros, KABEST (specializes in the delivery of integrated IT and security systems for the government sector), Asteros Consulting, and Asteros Labs.
