Все типы условных предложений можно смешивать. Любая комбинация времен возможна, если позволяет контекст предложения.
При преобразовании предложений в смешанный тип в придаточных предложениях типа Conditional 2 или Conditional 3 форма времени глагола сдвигается на «ступеньку» в прошлое по отношению к описываемым действиям, а в главном предложении появляется would + bare infinitive.
e.g. He doesn’t know her. That’s why he didn’t speak to her.
If he knew her, he would have spoken to her.
Он её не знает. Вот почему он не поговорил с ней.
Если бы он её знал, он бы с ней поговорил.
