Employer Description: Located in the choice South Beach area of Myrtle Beach, the spectacular Grand Atlantic Resort is one of the finest new resorts on the Carolina Coast. Job Types: Housekeeping, Laundry, Pool Attendants.

Job Descriptions: Housekeeping - clean and service rooms daily; this shift is 8:30am to 4pm. Laundry - wash and fold towels and sheets; this shift is 3pm to 11pm. Pool Attendants - sign in guests and hand out towels, English must be good for this position; shifts are 8am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm. Pool Attendants do not need to be certified lifeguards.

Number of Positions: 35 total.

Work Dates:

Arrival Dates: May 20^th to June 1^st.

End Dates: September 1^st to September 30^th.

Male/Female, Couples, Friend Groups: Females only. No couples. Friends groups ok, up to 4 students.

Salary: $8 per hour for all positions. Pay is every 2 weeks, students are setup with direct deposit at Bank of America, and they all obtain Visa debit cards.

Work Hours: Hours provided are 32.5 to 40 hours per week, every student works 5 days on, 2 days off.

Housing Information: Employer assists in locating housing upon arrival, and students pick where they want to live. Approximately $50 to $60 per week per student. 4 students per apartment, located 5 blocks from job site.

Local Transportation: Myrtle Beach area has a system of inexpensive public buses.

Uniform: Provided by employer.

Myrtle Beach is home for a number of award winning cultural festivals, which are free and take place in the summer. The area is famous for its live-theatre entertainment offering the best shows, music, dance, comedy, dinner theater, celebrity concerts, and movies.

During your two-night stay in New York you will have the opportunity to explore cultural attractions in the city: the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Empire State Building, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, Central Park and many other interesting sites.

Once in Myrtle Beach you will work alongside local Americans at the hotel, with the opportunity to learn about American culture and share your own. In addition you will interact with guests from all over the United States; 14 million people visit Myrtle Beach every year.

On days off you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Myrtle Beach attractions, and travel to nearby cities to learn more about American culture; Washigton, D.C. is about a 7 hour bus ride away.
