The department in cooperation with the Elegance School of Computer Science (Quetta-Pakistan) is holding the First International Project

for elementary, middle and high school students (of any age)

on the topic “My School, Your School”

Time frame: from December 10 till January 31

Overview:

Students will compare school life in different parts of the world, Students will share information about the educational institutions they attend to with the aim of reinforcing their school identities by allowing their global peers to get an insight of how they live their school days in their own countries.

This project will reinforce students' sense of identity as well as develop students' interest in school life as a key for a better education while they collaborate with global peers to learn from one another so as to build a more tolerant world respectful of diversity.

Objectives:

Development of art pieces

Students produce art work representing love of diversity and tolerance (pictures, songs, poems, posters, postcards…)

Multimedia presentation of different school aspects

Exchange of school information and images

Sharing of final products via a Skype session with the partner school and have the students share their experience.
In a Skype session, students read out their lists (one fact for every student.) Partner students may agree or correct a misconception.

Submissions should be sent to [e-mail] before 31.01.2014.
The time and place of the Skype session will be announced on 31.01.2014.
All participants will receive certificates.
