Size of Canadian Market

There are many "soft drink" products currently sold in Canada. They are available in corner stores, gas stations and bars, usually displayed alongside energy drinks, juices and sports drinks. The advantage of being part of "soft drink" market is that consumer all over Canada are interested in buying such kind of drinks. Moreover, soft drinks are available for consumers of all ages so we have a large scale target market

The target market of “Nature’s Gift” is people of all ages. Also, it is women, who are the first consumers who care about health and health of the family.

Cultural Factors

Canada and Russia are both multicultural countries. They are very similar but there are still some differences. Packaging in Russia is probably different from packaging in Canada. People can see 3 languages on the package (Russian, Ukraine, Kazakh and sometimes English) while on Canadian only two: English and French.

Existing Competition

There is a big competition in soft drink market. Basically there a lot of companies which have established their names in the market. Such companies as Coca-Cola has a name which is recognized worldwide and people are attracted to its products. But through research we noticed that Coca-Cola Company doesn’t make products such that “Niagara” does. The Russian company’s having advantage because its products is healthy and made from natural resources in contrast to Coca-Cola.

Target market

The target market of “Nature’s Gift” is people of all ages, especially women. Most of them are having families and purchasing food and all household stuff. Basically women are more sensitive to everything that concerns health and health care products. As Canadians are very attractive to products which may help them reduce their health problems, “Nature’s Gift” would be very popular among Canadian population. Moreover the target market is children. They are the growing generation and Canadians as others nations want them to be healthy, because with the soft drinks on the existing market, the possibility that children’s health would be “harm” by current soft drinks is very high.

Needs and Wants of the consumer

The needs and wants of Russian and Canadian consumer are very much similar. Both want something that tastes good and at the same time healthy. After taking in consideration Canadian health statistics we assume that Canadian consumer would like to see and feel really healthy drink. That’s why “Niagara” uses only natural resources and high technology to make its drinks very tasty and healthy.
