Середній загальний тираж національних газет складає понад 14 мільйонів примірників у будень та 16 мільйонів – у неділю. У Великобританії друкується десять національних ранкових щоденних газет, п'ять із яких є "якісними", дві – "середніми" та три – "популярними". Дев'ять національних недільних газет розподіляються на чотири "якісні", дві "середні" та три "популярні".
